Using this method you can trim the starting and end of the video. You just have to drag this arrow line to the point in the video up to which you want to trim the video. You will get adjusting arrow which you can use to trim off your video. Hover your mouse above the left or right edge of the video on the timeline. Now, from the split video select and right-click on the video that you want to cut and from the displayed options click on Remove and from the sub-options choose the option that fulfils your requirement.
Right-click on the video and from the options again click on the Split. Then you have to drag the play head to next point where you have to perform the spilt. From the displayed options click on Split.
It will display three options along with their shortcuts. Select the part that you want to cut or remove and click on the bin icon. You can notice that the video got split into three parts. Then further drag the play head to the point where the second split point should occur this will cover that length of the video which we need to cut.
Once the video is on your timeline then drag the play head to the point where you want to apply split and then click on the ‘ Split timeline’ tool present above your timeline as you can see in the image below.
